Hi, I'm Julie and he's Terry -
Both being born and bred in Portsmouth, we have salt water in our veins! Regular
visits to Old Portsmouth and The Dockyard created an interest in the
fascinating, colourful
history and characters of our Royal Navy , and all things nautical. This led
Terry, in particular, to be a keen collector of maritime items, from all kinds
of sources. It was only when
house room really did become a premium that he had to begrudgingly sell
something to make space for his latest acquisition. Thus, our business began!
Now, after more than fifteen years trading, we find ourselves settled into
The Dolphin Antiques Centre, where we deal in a wide range of
maritime related
items, including ships' wheels, lamps, binnacles (both large and small),
navigational instruments, telescopes, model ships, prints (some signed limited
editions) and a variety of other pieces of interest.
 We also have for sale, old copper and brass, small pieces of Georgian to early
20th. Century furniture and a selection of Object de Vertu in our cabinets.
